READ BEFORE YOU RUSH
Dear aspirant,
I am glad that you have started thinking seriously about competitive examinations. No other reason do I
find why you made an enquiry at ICD KOLLAM. And I honestly believe that I can help you.
At this juncture, I would like to let you know frankly a few things. By their very nature, competitive exams
are different from academic exams. In academic exams you need not beat others to succeed. But in competitive
exams you have to beat others to ensure your success.
The crowd that comes to me can be divided into two. One- those who realise the importance of
professional training in clearing competitive exams. Two- those who are mesmerised by the record success of
ICD. ICD welcomes the first category and prefers to shut its door to the second. You self-introspect which
category you belong to. Then decide whether to join.
Simply put in, ICD welcomes hard workers. I am alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management,
Kozhikode (IIM, K) and it is my pursuit to associate myself with students having high degree of enthusiasm and
Apositive frame of mind. If you have these elements in you, leave the rest to us.
Consider ICD a jail; you be a willing prisoner; I shall be a tough jailor; with joint efforts, we can escape to

3. THE LOCATION:
ICD KOLLAM is hardly 1 Km away from the Kollam Bus Stand and 2.5 Km away from the Kollam Railway Station.
4. THE INFRASTRUCTURE
ICD KOLLAM occupies a 14000 square feet, state-of-the-art building. Every classroom is wired to a
centralised environment. Student records, performance etc. can be tracked digitally and the information is only a
click-of-the-mouse away. Attendance is marked electronically through punching cards.
ICD KOLLAM has a computer lab that has 250 computers. Students can browse the question reservoir and
get the real time teaching assistance enabled by its unique software. Experience shows that students learn things
faster and more effectively.
ICD KOLLAM has the biggest reservoir of practice questions and is still improving.
ICD KOLLAM aims to make all administrative activities paper-less in the next 3-4 months.
The most striking aspect of our infrastructure is the highest degree of decorum that students keep in the
institute.
