His first music album with title “Rapsodi” was released in the year of 2011 and during the release of that music album he was signed to the Coded Tunes. After the release of his album in the year 2012 he left Coded Tunes in order to start his own recording company which was named YBNL nation.
When he was asked why he opted for music as his career the answer which he gave was that he found out that he had a gift and with the desire to exploit his gift and gain some recognition in the music industry he pursued this career option. After seeing his journey it can be said that he had lived his dream and he will continue to give his best to entertain the young people all around the world who are his fan and love his songs. He decided to pursue music as a career in the year of 2000. His very first performance was at the Hip Hop World Awards. Apart from music he has a strong educational backgrounds. He has studied mass communication from Tai Solarin University of Education.
The very first album of Olamide “Rapsodi” gained a lot of appreciation. The lead single of the album “EniDuro” was on the list of popular Olamide Album Songs that year.
