Add creativity to your email• Make your e-mail stand out with a few touches. Go from

plain white to exciting with eye-catching features like page colors and textures, shading styles, and shapes. Apply WordArt styles like shadows or 3-D, highlighting, and font colors. See instant previews of your choices in the e-mail message before you finalize your changes.

Stay on top of things with Outlook flags• Flags are colorful reminders for items you need to follow

up on, whether tasks, messages, or contacts. There are several options for setting flags to complement the way you work. Flags can give you pop-up reminders and they also appear in the To-Do Bar, where you can easily see what actions you need to take each day.

…and you can do all of this!Find it fast with Instant Search• If you're buried in e-mail (and who isn't?), Instant Search

can save the day for you. The new Instant Search helps you quickly find e-mail messages, appointments, contacts, or any Outlook item. You don't even need to know which folder the item is in. Watch the demo to see how to use this fast search feature, and start finding what you want instantly.

Stay on task with Outlook tasks• Outlook 2007 can help you stay on course by helping you

create, prioritize, delegate, and track the to-do items in your life.

…and you can do all of this!Create and use an email template• If you find yourself re-creating a similar report or newsletter

for e-mail time after time, an e-mail template can save you lots of steps. This video guides you through creating your own template specific to your needs. Once you save your new template, you can load it whenever you need it and add or change information.

Customize your calendar• Did you know the views in your Outlook calendar are fully

customizable? View days and weeks in increments of 5 minutes, 60 minutes, or periods in between. Adjust the view according to your work week and work day -- you can display Sunday-Thursday and show a normal day as 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Use different color schemes, and show more or less detail.

…and you can do all of this!Create and use email signature• In Outlook 2007, you can create and store different

signatures for different circumstances. It's easy to create a signature that includes the information you want — a plain signature with just your name or an elaborate one with a photo, hyperlink, contact details, and several lines of text formatted for clarity and emphasis. The demo shows you how.

3 ways to share your calendar• This video shows you three ways to share your calendar in

Outlook 2007. You can share your calendar within the organization by using that feature. You can also send a snapshot of your calendar in e-mail to people outside your company. And you can publish your calendar on the Microsoft Office Online Web site and restrict how much detail is shown and who can access it.

launching pad — where you can get to your most important folders and views with just a click or two? This video shows you how to change the size of the pane to free up more space, customize the buttons and icons so you see what you want first, and arrange the folders for your convenience. You'll also see how easily you can change the organization whenever you want.

Wait… there’s these, too!Create an Outlook Distribution List• If you send email messages to a group of the same

individuals, a Distribution List can speed the addressing of your messages. Why type ten names when you can type one?

Delay sending email messages• The ease and speed of the Send button could lead

to some embarrassing moments. You can delay the delivery of an individual email message. You can also give yourself a few minutes to act after you click Send by using an Outlook rule to delay the delivery of all messages.
