TOUR ITINERARY

THE TOUR AT A GLANCE… Our European Architecture tours over the past fifteen years, have focused on the western and northern sides of Europe discovering, contemporary and modern architecture of the 20th and 21st century. This Grand Tour extends into the southern parts of Europe again following the same theme to discover and appreciate recent work of outstanding architects most of whom are Pritzker Prize winners.

The Tour begins in Lisbon travelling to Porto and then Valencia and Barcelona. We then board a Mediterranean Cruise around the coastal ports of Gibraltar, France and Italy. The tour includes exciting, outstanding and mostly recent 21C buildings with a significant new direction in having 7 nights at sea with less time travelling between cities by bus and more time to rest and enjoy our world.

Our itinerary provides a balance of time out during the tour but still as much to see as you could wish. We have also allowed adequate time for participants to visit fantastic new art galleries and theatres independently and share the pleasures these beautiful and vibrant cities have to offer.
