Instructions for wearing caps & gowns

Take your cap and gown home in order to make adjustments as to the length (9 inches from floor with shoes on). Caps are worn with the mortarboard flat on top. Loop your tassel around the center button of your cap. Use a clear piece of tape to fasten your tassel near the outer edge of the cap so that the tassel hangs along your right eye when the cap is worn. Nothing may be written on or attached to the mortarboard.

Ten (10) tickets for the ceremony will be given to each student at cap & gown distribution. Additional tickets may be requested in the main office after cap & gown distribution.
