    About your workshop leader:Anne Bartlett-Bragg is Managing Director o Headshit Australasia, a leading social business consulting company with ofces in Europe, USA andAustralia. She specialises in the creation o innovative communication networks and learning environments or organisations with social sotware.Annes designs are award winners.

    Additionally, she is a sessional academic at the University o Technology, Sydney and is involved with the design, development and delivery oeLearning subjects in the Faculty o Arts and Social Sciences. She is also the Executive Director o the Learning Technologies User Group and the

    education advisor or the Australian Businesswomens Network. She has published widely in textbooks, academic and industry journals, as well a blogging or bothHeadshit and her own blog. Anne is currently completing her PhD that has investigated the adult learners experience o developing learning networks through theuse o weblogs or sel-published technologies. She has a Med (Adult Ed), Bed (Adult Ed), Dip HRM, Dip e-Learning and Cert IV Training and Assessment.

    About the workshop::For some people, the thought o developing your own eLearning programmes seems like a daunting task. Oten the advice oered is to read the manuals!!However, i you are a complete novice to Web-based (online) learning resource development, three quarters o your valuable energies can be spent digestingthe jargon. Save yoursel the extra stress, relax and take things at a very slow pace to begin with - this is all doable. In no time at all your jargon vocabulary willincrease along with your general comort level or the graphical user interace (more commonly called the GUI) ooops, what a start!!

    An innovative reusable Web-based instructional tool has been designed to provide a sound instructional architecture or people who may not possess high-endmulti-media development skills. This eLearning courseware development tool is thereore ideally suited to be used with existing hard-copy learning/training materials.In many cases your existing materials have already been designed with careul consideration or the anticipated learning/training outcomes. Following participation inthis interactive workshop you should be able to: develop good quality eLearning content, organise your existing learning resources and know how to translate theminto digital media les. This interactive workshop is thereore intended or non-technical trainers wishing to develop quality online training courses by reusing atemplate architecture as your instructional ramework.

    About your workshop leader:Elspeth McKay is an Associate Proessor o Inormation Systems at the RMIT University, School o Business IT and Logistics, in Melbourne.

    Recognized as an active researcher, she is passionate about designing eective eLearning resources or the education sector and industry training/reskilling programmes, including: investigating how individuals interpret text and graphics within Web 2.0 learning environments. She has designede-Learning courseware development tools that are implemented through rich internet applications. Her adaptive eLearning systems include: anadvanced repurposing eLearning system, COGNIWAREa multi-modal e-Learning ramework, GEMSa global eMuseum System, eWRAPan electronic

    work readiness awareness programme, and EASYan educational/academic (skills) screening or the young, oering enhanced accessibility through touch screentechnologies. Over the last decade Elspeth has published extensively in the research elds o HCI and educational technology. In recognition o her contribution to theproessional practice o IS research, she was elected as a Fellow o the Australian Computer Society (FACS).
