Keystone’s Silo Unloader uses a Primary and Secondary Sweep Auger that under-cuts two separate areas in the bottom of the Silo. This design provides excellent downward “inter-particle” movement that results in more uniformly blended mate-rial when unloaded. Keystone’s Free Flow Control System eliminates “Free Flow” by putting sweep augers in charge of unload-ing all the material from the silo. The volumetric capacity of the Sweep Augers is designed to meet the required unload-ing rate. The combined effect of these two features develops more consistent flow patterns in Silos resulting in truer “first in – first out” delivery of quality materials. And further, these features will greatly mini-mize age old Silo Material Bridging prob-lems. Keystone builds their Silo Unloaders wherever possible with Standard Industrial Componenents. In addition, Standard Maintenance of all moving unloader parts can be done from OUTSIDE the silo mate-rial storage area.

Keystone’s Gear Boxes are a result of years of research and development. They have an outstanding design and are built with state of the art manufacturing machinery by workmen with many years of experi-ence. Keystone’s Gear Boxes are engineered and built with precision and close tolerances to perform reli-ably and quietly in rugged applications and conditions. All gear box housings are built with high tensile duc-tile iron and are available in a multiple range of ratios. Output shaft configurations can be custom designed and built for site specific applications. Synthetic oil is used to provide maximum protection and performance under the most demanding conditions.
