This assignment is purely technical. We are working on getting a control over the equipment used in photography. Do not worry about image content or conceptual

meaning. One thing at a time… Materials: - Camera set on Large JPG / Manual Settings / Manual Focus - Out door space during daylight hours -Camera set to ISO 200 or 400 Note: you are ignoring your light meter for Part A and Part B just shoot what your told PART A: Shoot a complete set of “reciprocal exposure equivalents” as shown in the class power point. This will be One (1) composition, with Seven (7) shots. PART B: Shoot a complete set of images on Shutter Speed 1/60 sec using all available F-stops on your camera. This will be One (1) composition, with Nine (9) shots. PART C: Make 10 great exposures; use your F stops & shutter speeds to make you light meter happy. This will be 10 different compositions. PART D: Five (5) sets Depth of field: Create two (2) images of each composition; one with a shallow and one with a deep depth of field. What to Hand In: One PDF contact sheet with all your images on it. Label the appropriate files with “Part A” / “Part B” etc. etc. (see video tutorial for labeling)
