Men’s Wednesday Night Basketball (18+)Adult men are welcome to come and play recreational basketball on pickup teams. It’s a great workout and builds cardiovascular efficiency. Free Indoor Walk/Run at Prior Lake High School The indoor walking track will be open most evenings for those who wish to walk or run at their own pace for cardiovascular and fitness benefits during cold weather conditions. Running and/or jogging will only be allowed 7:30-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Enter through the lower level. Sign in when you enter. Pick up your calendar to check schedule changes. Dates and time subject to change based upon high school activities. No walk/run when school is not in session. No food/beverages allowed; water only.

Aqua Exercise Instructor: Alice SachsJoin us for an hour plus of VIGOROUS aquatics exercise! Water aerobics is beneficial for many reasons. First, it’s low-impact. Second, it’s an activity that focuses on range of motion and strength building. Third, it’s cardiovascular exercise that can assist with weight control. No swimming skills necessary. Google Cloud Basics I & IIInstructor: Mark Hubbard Level I - A person or business used to have to purchase expensive software programs to manage their business or daily lives. Now, anyone with access to the internet via a mobile device or computer has access to these tools for FREE through their Gmail account and Google. You will receive step by step guidance to create and manage your own Gmail account. You will learn how to navigate the Google Cloud and how to create Documents, Presentations and Spreadsheets using the tools on Google Drive. You will learn how to create and manage Calendar and events, compose a simple letter, create a PowerPoint like presentation, and how to create a simple spreadsheet for data. Understanding your child’s brain dominances and how naturally occurring stress hormones affect them, can give insight into their behavior and how to help them manage it. Advisory Councils are active task-oriented groups who make recommendations about policies, procedures, program offerings, budgets, and more for ISD 719 Community Education Services programs. Together these groups determine what resources could be utilized to meet the needs and interests of community members without duplicating the efforts provided by others.

Be an “Early Bird”Prompt reg is t ra t ion he lps avoid disappointment when classes fill quickly or have to cancel due to low enrollment, only to find that late registrations would have allowed the class to run. Early registrations also make it easier if we need to contact you for any reason before your class begins.

RefundsYour money will be refunded if your class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. If you choose to cancel your class registration, to be eligible for a full refund we need to receive your request no later than 4:00 p.m. five (5) business days prior to the first day of class. Cancellations for classes with supply fees must be received five (5) business days prior to the first day of class unless otherwise noted in description. Refunds of supplies are not issued after that time due to commitments made to instructors. Cancellations received after five business days will be subject to no refund. A $10 processing fee will be deducted from any refund.

DiscountsAdults (55 & over) receive discounts when noted in class pricing. All UCare Minnesota members may receive a discount of $15. If the class is less than $15, it is free. UCare Member ID must be provided at the time of registration. Sign up with a friend to receive 10% off your total up to $15. Discount must be requested at the time of registration. The friend discount is offered online and will be applied at the payment screen. The same class must be in your shopping cart in order to receive discount.

Satisfaction GuaranteePlease call the Community Education Office at 952.226.0080 if you are not satisfied with any class or activity in which you participated.

Guidelines and ProceduresCancellationCommunity Education reserves the right to withdraw a course due to lack of enrollment or loss of a suitable facility. If we have to cancel a class, every effort will be made to contact all the participants who preregistered. Please include on your registration form a phone number where you can be contacted during the day. Community Education assumes no responsibility for reaching registrants who do not provide an accessible daytime phone number. When ever possible messages will be left on voicemail/answering machines. If an email is provided at time of registration, notifications will also be sent to the address provided.

Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather or for other unavoidable reasons. These sessions are made up whenever possible. If school closes during the day due to bad weather, Community Education will cancel all activities. Call 952-226-0080 for evening or weekend cancellation information.

Are You In? Yes - unless you hear from us. Community Education does not mail class confirmations. If you have an email address at the time of registration, a confirmation will be emailed to you. If you do not hear from us, assume that you are in the class and that it will be held at the time and place indicated. We will contact you by phone or mail if there is a change. Please list a daytime phone number so we can reach you if a class is cancelled. If there is a last minute change, signs are posted at each site with your class information on it such as class title, room numbers and times of classes.

Tuition Assistance Available

Reduced fees, scholarships and payment plans are available for families experiencing financial hardship. Assistance is limited to one program per person in each quarter with a limit of $100 per person/quarter. Some programs are not eligible. You must be a resident of ISD 719 to qualify. Call at 952.226.0088 to request assistance.

DON’T DELAYIf the minimum number of participants is not reached, programs will be cancelled. A full refund will be

issued or you can be moved to another program.

PrivacyThe information requested on the registration forms will be used to verify eligibility as well as determine staff, facility and equipment needs. Your registration information may be provided to school district staff, volunteers, instructors, the school district attorney, insurer and auditor. Your email information is for internal use only and will not be sold or solicited. Photographs or videos of classes in action may be taken and used for district publications and web pages. If you object to having your picture used, please notify the Community Education Office at 952-226-0080 each time you register.

Non-endorsement Policy Prior Lake-Savage Community Education contracts with specialist in their fields who are interested in presenting classes in their areas of expertise to the community. We do not endorse the opinions or business affiliations of the instructors.

Tuition Assistance Available

Reduced fees, scholarships and payment plans are available for families experiencing financial hardship. Assistance is limited to one program per person in each quarter with a limit of $100 per person/quarter. Some programs are not eligible. You must be a resident of ISD 719 to qualify. Call at 952.226.0088 to request assistance.

DON’T DELAYIf the minimum number of participants is not reached, programs will be cancelled. A full refund will be

issued or you can be moved to another program.

Your registration information may be provided to school district staff, volunteers, instructors, the school district attorney, insurer and auditor.
