CHOOSING THE RIGHT SUMMER CAMP

Make the decision together with your child! Your involvement can help them eagerly look forward to camp. To start, answer the following questions:What are your child’s interests and goals? For most, the number one reason to participate is fun, followed closely by the desire to learn new skills and to be with or make new friends.

Is your child ready?Different ages mean different stages of development. One four-year-old can be ready for a full-day camp experience, while another is more content at a half-day camp.

What are your goals? Are you looking for creative experiences for your child? A learning experience? An opportunity for skill development? Consider practical logistics, such as scheduling and location. Optional camp services, like the Before and After Camp Program, may help facilitate your decision.
