Setting

In the Kingdom of Arendelle, where Anna and Elsa are princess. They then go to the ball to celebrate Elsa’s coronation.

Anna and Hans are meeting for the first(second) time and Anna believes it's love at first sight.

Then they ask Elsa for her blessing of their marriage but Elsa says no…

This is appropriate setting compared to Padua because it is a kingdom with 2 ‘princesses’ with the older one is a shrew and the younger is the one the men all want.

Hans(Lucentio)- Major

Hans is a prince from the Kingdom of the Southern Isles. Not much is known about the prince's past; however, he is the youngest of the thirteen royal siblings, and felt somewhat neglected amongst his brothers.

Knowing he would never rule the throne of the Southern Isles, Hans concocted a scheme to marry into monarchy elsewhere, eventually setting his sights on the kingdom of Arendelle.

Hans' plans changed after realizing that Elsa the queen to be was less social, changing the prince to instead target her lonely and less mature younger sister Anna, planning to murder Queen Elsa after their marriage, which would result in him becoming king.

ELSA(Shrew/Kate)- Major

Elsa, princess of Arendelle and heiress to the throne, is born with the ability to create and control ice and snow.

As much as Elsa’s parents tried to control them but there was no helping it, so Elsa was shut away in her bedroom for most of her early childhood, she was given gloves to help suppress her powers and was told to hold in her emotions.

Her powers continue to grow even stronger and so she becomes fearful of harming those she cares about most.

One day her sister, Anna, asks to marry a man she has only known for a short while and she accidently exposes her power to her kingdom.

Act I, Scene I; Ball Room

ELSA: I'm sorry, I’m confused.

ANNA: Well, we haven't worked out all the details ourselves. We’ll need a few days to plan the ceremony.

ELSA: Here? What? No, no, no ,no. Slow down… No one is getting married, you can’t marry a man you just met.

ANNA: You can if it’s true love

ELSA: Anna, what do you know about true love?

ANNA: More than you. All you know is how to shut people out.

ELSA: You asked for my blessing, but my answer is no. Now, excuse me. [Elsa exits]

HANS: Ah, what a cruel [sister’s she]
