The gray wolf is wide ranging
• Found in Northern Europe, Siberia, Asia and North America
• Until 1900, were found throughout North America
• Now much fewer in numbers, most in Alaska, Canada
But, wolves also live in Mexico and Southwest United States

Wolf colors
• Wolf color ranges from almost pure white, to completely black. Most are gray.
Wolves live in packs of 2-20 individuals
