Bengal tigers are covered with black and orange fur. Bengal tigers have sharp teeth and strong jaws.

Where it lives

• They live in Asia. Some Bengal tigers live in Africa. Bengal tigers also live in Europe.

How they are born• Tigers walk quietly on padded paws. They

can eat 40 pound and 18 kilograms of meat.

• Mother Bengal tigers keep their cub safe. Bengals are endangered. They have few places to hunt. The tigers hunt alone. Tiger stripes hide them in tall grass.
