The ideal passphrase is one which you can easily remember but which others cannot easily work out. There are experts out there who specialize in deciphering passwords. They will look at any number of biographical factors in order to reach a conclusion about the password that you are likely to be using.

For example, they may consider your name, age, residence, nationality, friends and activities.

Malware has been developed for the specific purpose of working out these details so that your accounts can eventually be penetrated. That is why it is important to create strong passphrases in addition to the other security measures that you undertake such as the installation of the TotalSystemCare software package. These are some factors to consider:

I. Keep away from password managers: This may sound like strange advice given the fact that these are carefully selected programs that are able to come up with cryptic passwords for virtually any purpose. The downside is that if they penetrated then you are done for because the hacker will be able to get to virtually all your accounts. Like any software program, they are subject to malware which can be introduced in a range of ways. If you decide to use this facility, make sure that the passwords are changed on a fairly regular basis and use a master password that is known to you and you alone.

II. Add as many characters as possible: The short term memory starts deteriorating after seven separate items so you might want to restrict your password to about 12 characters. One that is inordinately long may prove to be too difficult to remember. Try to add dynamics that are different and challenging. For example, you can change cases throughout and add numbers or characters. The greater the variety of the mix, the more difficult it is to decipher the password. Misspellings and random words can be a great way to keep the hackers at bay. However, that does not mean that you give up on measures to control computer viruses such as the installation of well-known protective programs like SafeBytes.III. Add complexity to your substitutes: A strict protocol for substitutes might make it easier for you to remember the pass phrases but it also means that someone might be able to work out the word if they are familiar with your biographical data or habits. You should mix languages and look for very rare words that are only found in the least spoken words in the world. English, French and German are definitely within the remit of the hackers who are mostly based in English-speaking and Chinese-speaking countries. You should always aim for the most opaque password possible.IV. Have multiple testing layers: The person that uses the password should go through secondary verification stages. For example, they may be able to work out your date of birth but they will not know the place where you kissed your first lover. Even if they scan for information about you, it is unlikely that they will get all the information that they need.
