Project-based Learning (PBL) is the use of
classroom projects to bring about deeper
more engaged learning in students.
Students use technology and inquiry to
investigate issues that are relevant to their
lives.
Students become more independent
learners.
Do decisions we make today impact our
health tomorrow?
Is prevention the best way to preserve our
health?
What is the definition of disease? What
benefits do we get from exercise? What is
a balanced diet?
Students will investigate different ways to
prevent disease processes in the body by
exploring exercise, diet, and risk factors.
Students will then present their findings to
the class in the form of a poster
presentation.
