“The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.” ~Thomas Jefferson~

I have had many debates with those on the left about the issue of gun control vs. gun rights here in America. What I find consistent with the position of the left, is their lack of knowledge or worse, their complete intentional ignorance of American and World history. There is a direct correlation between government gun control, civilian disarmament and government sponsored genocide or I should say, democide. Below are the results of my research regarding gun control throughout modern history and the disastrous results that ensued. I should warn you though, I'm not a journalist nor am I a professional writer so I apologize for any grammatical errors.I firmly believe that to avoid the mistakes, dangers and catastrophes of the past, we must be knowledgeable about history. The information contained herein is the result of my countless hours (days and days) of research along with my sources. I'm sure the left will vigorously try to prove me wrong, try to oppose my findings, try to disprove the facts....well, all I can say is this: have at it....bring it on! Facts are facts and they're out there for everyone to see, you just have to look for them.

“Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” ~John Adams~

Following are some examples of the catastrophic and tragic events that resulted when world governments instituted gun control.

• Turkish Ottoman Empire, 1911, instituted gun control, Article 166 of the Ottoman Penal Code. From 1915-1917 the Turks rounded up defenseless Armenians (mostly Christians) and proceeded to exterminate 1.8 million Armenians. Later referred to as the "Armenian Genocide." In fact, the word "genocide" itself was coined to describe the horrors of the Turkish massacre of innocent Armenian civilians.

• Russia (USSR), 1929, instituted gun control under Article 182 of the Soviet penal code. In October 1918, the government ordered the surrender of all firearms, ammunition, and sabres. In 1935 Stalin enacted a law making it illegal to even carry a knife. And in 1937 the notorious “order No. 00447” called for the mass execution and exile of "socially harmful elements" as "enemies of the people." Historians state that Stalin systematically executed, worked to death, starved to death and massacred an estimated 20-60 million unarmed civilians...no one will ever know the real number of victims due to the secrecy & refusal by the Russian Government to release documents showing the real/accurate number of victims from Stalin's genocides.

• Holodomor. Stalin’s secret genocide in Ukraine resulted in the murders of over 7 - 11 million Ukranians. Stalin ravaged the Ukranian countryside and had all food supplies confiscated from the farms in a program he introduced called “agricultural collectivization.” This program forced farmers to give up their private land, equipment and livestock, and join state owned, factory-like collective farms. Stalin decides that collective farms would not only feed the industrial workers in the cities but could also provide a substantial amount of grain to be sold abroad, with the money used to finance his industrialization plans. But the Ukranian farmers known for their independence refused to join the collective farms so Stalin introduced a policy of “class warfare” and "dekulakization" policies which resulted in the deaths of millions of Ukranians.

• Germany 1928-1938; firearms & ammunition law April 12; weapons law March 18. Although gun laws were already in existence when Adolph Hitler took control of Germany, Hitler further tightened Germany's gun laws under the pretense of "public safety". Then he and the Nazis methodically murdered (massacred) an estimated 21 million unarmed civilians & prisoners of war. Hitler was responsible for the deaths of over 50-60 million people throughout Europe.

"This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future! The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms." ~Adolph Hitler~(1935) on the passing of the German Weapons Act

• China, 1935-1957, instituted gun control (Article 186-7 Penal Code and Article 9 Security Law). Mao Tse Tung (Mao Zedong) used these gun control laws to exterminate 40-70 million unarmed civilians through starvation, forced labor, torture, executions & massacres. Scholars agree that Mao's "Great Leap Forward" is thought to be the world's largest genocide. But accurate numbers will never be known, because unlike Hitler where Western historians relied on records kept by the Germans to calculate death figures, Mao and the Chinese Government did not keep or retain records of those killed by Mao & his communist policies.

Mao said: "for all my projects to take off, half of China may well have to die." AND upon learning of the masses dying from starvation, Mao said: "Educate the peasant to eat less." And  "Death have benefit, they fertilize the land."

• Guatemala, 1871-1964, instituted gun control laws, Decree 36 and Decree 283. Guatemala suffered from a vicious civil war 1960-1996. The strict gun laws and ensuing civil war resulted in the widespread genocide of over 100,000 unarmed indigenous Mayan Indians by Government forces. The Guatemala Genocide is one of the most overlooked human rights violations of the 20th century.

• Uganda, 1955-1979, instituted gun control by way of the Firearms Ordinance and the Firearms Act. Idi Amin Dada used these laws to disarm civilians and then exterminate 300,000-500,000 unarmed ethnic Christian citizens, politicians, journalists & foreign nationals. It has been documented by survivors that Idi Amin was so cruel that people feared Him more than they feared death. It was also widely reported that Amin was a cannibal. From 1977–1979, Uganda was a member of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights despite widespread reports of Amin's human rights abuses! In 1979, Idi Amin Dada fled Uganda to Libya and then to Saudi Arabia where the Saudi Royal Family granted him sanctuary & paid him a generous subsidy for the remainder of his life. Amin lived out the rest of his life (DOD: Aug 16, 2003) very comfortably in Saudi Arabia without any fear of prosecution. The U.N. and International Tribunals NEVER prosecuted Amin for his crimes against humanity. The December 1980 elections returned Milton Obote to power as President.  President Obote waged yet another genocide. In 1986 Yoweri Museveni came to power as President. Museveni's Government along with the LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) systemically and viciously carried out yet another genocide against the Acholi people of Northern Uganda. Human rights groups estimated that over 1,500 children per week died. The U.N., international community, embassies, human rights organizations and NGO's were all aware of the continuing genocide but remained deafeningly silent.

"In any country there must be people who have to die. They are the sacrifices any nation has to make to achieve law and order."~Idi Amin~

• Cambodia, 1956 Penal Code Article 322-8, instituted gun control which later resulted in the genocide of millions of unarmed Cambodians by Pol Pot & the Khmer Rouge. Pol Pot (born Saloth Sar) lead the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia from 1963-1998. Pol Pot tried to create a "utopian communist society" in Cambodia and in the process he killed 3.3 million people during his dictatorship (25% of the cambodian population) by way of genocide, executions, torture, famine & denial of all medical care.

• Rwanda, 1993; Decree Law No. 12 instituted in 1979. The gun control law that later allowed the Hutu Government to massacre 800,000 to 1 million unarmed Tutsi civilians...ethnic cleansing. The genocide and the ensuing exodus of refugees from Rwanda destabilized the Congo region which led to the First and the Second Congo Wars that killed an estimated 5 million people. It should be noted that Boutros Boutros-Ghali (Egyptian), former Secretary General to the U.N. was instrumental in brokering a massive arms deal (via Cairo) that provided the weapons the Hutu used to massacre the Tutsi. So much for the U.N. stepping in and diffusing the situation....NO, the U.N. just promoted the genocide by providing arms to Hutu Government forces so they could massacre the unarmed Tutsi. The U.N. had on several occasions been warned of the impending genocide but ignored the reports and further instructed U.N. troops to "stand down" and not to "interfere" in what the U.N. deemed were "internal politics". The movie "Beyond the Gates" (aka "Shooting Dogs") is based on the actual events at École Technique Officielle (Technical School) in Kigali where thousands of Tutsis sought refuge & protection with Belgian UNAMIR soldiers stationed there. But on April 11, 1994, the U.N. ordered the Belgian UNAMIR soldiers to withdraw, leaving the unarmed Tutsis with no protections; this allowed the armed Hutu Government forces to storm the gates of the compound and viciously slaughter the Tutsis inside: every man, woman, child, baby, the elderly and the disabled, no one was spared. It was just one example of the horrors suffered by the Tutsis at the hands of Hutu Government forces. I recommend that EVERYONE watch this movie, but I should warn you, it's a very difficult movie to watch. We should never forget what horrors were allowed to transpire in Rwanda because of international apathy.

• Africa. I've already cited Rwanda and Uganda's gun control and subsequent genocides; but what about other nations in Africa? Sudan: Arms, Ammunition and Explosives Act of 1986 and the Arms, Ammunition and Explosives Regulation, 1993, incorporating Amendment No. 1 of 1997. In 2003 the existing gun control laws effectively led to the totalitarian Islamist Arab controlled Sudanese Government to start attacking and killing Sudanese citizens throughout the country....another ethnic cleansing.  Most of the genocide has taken place in South Sudan and the Darfur region at the hands of the Arab Sudanese Government controlled military and Arab terror groups like the Janjaweed (literally "evil men on horseback"or "devil on a horse"), armed and funded by the Sudanese Government (arms provided to the government by Russia, China and Iran). To date, South Sudan genocide: 2.2 million massacred and 4.5 million driven from their homes; they've either been enslaved or are in refugee camps. Darfur genocide: over 400,000 massacred and over 2 million driven from their homes into refugee camps. And these figures don't include the widespread abuses of rape and torture of women and children; nor does it include the intentional transmission of AIDS (by infected solders) to women and children. The U.N. once again REFUSED to step in and protect unarmed and innocent Sudanese civilians, opting instead for "sanctions" against the Sudanese Government. "The United Nations, however, is hard at work to make sure that genocide victims in Sudan, and anywhere else in Africa, will not be able to resist. Sudan is covered by a U.N.-backed treaty called the 'The Nairobi Protocol for the Prevention, Control and Reduction of Small Arms and Light Weapons in the Great Lakes Region and the Horn of Africa.' The protocol was signed on in 2004, by representatives of Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania." Of these East African nations: the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Sudan and Uganda have all suffered from government sponsored genocides. "The treaty requires universal gun registration, complete prohibition of all civilian-owned semi-automatic rifles, 'heavy minimum sentences for...the carrying of unlicensed small arms,' as well as programs to encourage citizens to surrender their guns, widespread searches for firearms, educational programs to discourage gun ownership, and other polices to disarm the public."  "...the U.N. believes that resisting an actual genocide in progress is not a sufficient reason for someone to want to own a gun." The U.N. is aggressively pushing for similar gun control and civilian disarmament initiatives in other East African states, South African states and West African states. No wonder so many areas of Africa are so unstable, so unsafe to travel to let alone live there...it's a complete mess and Africans can thank the United Nations gun control initiatives for their disastrous state of affairs, vicious totalitarian dictatorships and government sanctioned genocides.  Meanwhile the international community is by and large deafeningly silent, only asking for empty "sanctions" and nothing more. And because security is non-existent, even humanitarian agencies have pulled out of Darfur leaving millions of citizens to try and survive the violence, famine & genocide on their own. Could it be that most of the International community is more concerned with protecting their interests in Sudan's resources (oil fields & pipelines) rather than vigorously opposing the genocide by the Sudanese Government, who controls those resources? It is my belief from the research I've done regarding Sudan, that the international community fears they'll jeopardize their own interests (oil) if they oppose the Sudanese Government. Shameful.

• And here in America, every American should be well informed about the contents of American gun laws:

• National Firearms Act of 1932 and then the Gun Control Act of 1968, Pub.L. 90-618; 82 Stat. 1213 (codified as amended at 18 U.S.C. § 925(d)(3)) . The latter gun law was presented to Congress by Sen. Thomas Dodd (D-Conn) who was a prosecutor at the Nuremberg Tribunals; Sen. Dodd used the Nazi gun control law as a basis to construct the U.S. Gun Control Act of 1968. How frightening! The proposed law was enacted by Congress and signed into law by Pres. Lyndon B. Johnson under the auspices of his "Great Society" series of programs. At the time, the U.S. Government. and politicians claimed that the 1968 gun control law was spurred by the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X; they needed to "protect" American civilians from gun violence. "Never let a good crisis go to waste" is the motto of our Government. The law bans specific firearms, specific ammunition, requires registrations and prohibits "certain" people from ever obtaining a firearm.

• Firearm Owners Protection Act (FOPA) Pub.L. 99-308, 100 Stat. 449, enacted May 19, 1986, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 921 et seq.; and how could we forget the Brady Handgun Violence Protection Act, Pub.L. 103-159, 107 Stat. 1536, enacted November 30, 1993.  It's a fact, we've already started down a slippery slope to complete gun control and disarmament here in America. The question is "can we, the American People, stop the U.N. gun control initiatives; stop our own Government; our judiciary and our politicians from further eroding our rights; stop them from completely shredding our Constitution; stop them from completely disarming us and enslaving us?" Only time will tell....are YOU willing to fight, to do whatever it takes, to protect and preserve YOUR Second Amendment rights?

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” ~Thomas Jefferson~

• And if you're sitting there, reading this and thinking a genocide could never happen here in America, well let's just go back further in our Country's history, we must NEVER forget what the U.S. Government did to Native Americans once they were disarmed...the U.S. Government has already committed genocide and we must never let it happen again.

“....We are poor... but we are free. No white man controls our footsteps. If we must die...we die defending our rights.” ~Sitting Bull, Hunkpapa Sioux~

• There are so many more instances of government gun control and civilian disarmament that ultimately lead to genocide but I think I've clearly proven the validity of the original email. Research, research and research more; sadly, you'll find what I did, so many horrific events of governments committing genocide against its own citizens. The statistics are overwhelming, heartbreaking, so sad and so preventable.

• It should be noted that most of the perpetrators of genocide in the 20th century have never been prosecuted  for their crimes against humanity. "Historical truth: evil governments did wipe out 170,000,000 innocent non-military lives in the 20th Century alone."

“Everything you see is just a century of anarchy.”~All Eyes by Imagine Dragons~

• And please, do not rely solely on my research, I strongly urge you to do your own research. Learn as much as you can about history, more specifically the history of international (U.N.) and government gun control and the catastrophic and tragic events that ensued after civilians were disarmed.

“Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance; they are the peoples’ liberty, teeth and keystone under independence.”~George Washington~
