• NVC: The target audience is indirectly addressed as the girl is concentrating on her work in the picture and are not distracted by something/someone else.

• Lighting: The lighting is brighter where the desk is as she is doing her work on it. This could mean that studying should be made a priority by students. The lighting in the background is darker to suggest that whatever is going on in the background should be ignored when trying to focus. Overall, the lighting is low key.
