Slovenia – The big Trip

Slovenia

Hello, my name is Anastasia. I was in Slovenia and I saw many things. After a long journey, we arrived in Murska Sobota.

In the morning, we went to a local school. There, we were attending at several workshops: folklore workshop, dance workshop, pastry workshop – where we made licitar (a traditional sweet from Slovenia) and bagels.

I visited Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenia.

The “sweet” thing about this workshop was that we learned how to draw on their traditionals cookies.

Fortunatly the licitar was very good, so we ended up eating our “drawings”.

Licitars can be use for Christmas tree decorations, wedding favours for guests, gifts, many other ornamental purposes, and is given as a way of showing your affection to the ones you love.

We went to a hippodrom and saw many beautiful horses and someone explain the racing harness, the legends and stories about knights, about their armor.

We liked very much this trip, in wich we made friend and learned new things.
