A habitat is a place where animals or plants live.Where they get water, food and shelter.

Deserts are very hot and dry.

There aren't many animals or plants. There are a lot of kinds of cactis.

Desert animals are nocturnal:they sleep during the day and hunt at night when the desert is cool.

There are a lot of trees and plants and a big variety of animals because there is plenty of water.

Forest have got four seasons: Winter, Autumn, Spring and Summer.In Autumn, leaves turn yellow, orange, red and brown.The weather is different in each season.

Arctic and Antarctic are very cold places where snow is on the ground most of the year.

Winters are long, cold and dark.Some animals migrate in winter to find food.

A savanna is a hot grassland where there are few trees.Savannas have got only two seasons: a dry season and a rainy season.

There are five oceans: the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, and Southern
