Anna Vasa School in Golub-Dobrzyń as high-school has been existing

since 1945. Now it is a complex of two schools: high school and junior high school.

These two types of school are located in one building situated

in a marvelous surrounding, on the

hill opposite the Golub’s castle

(it’s known as school on the hill).

Junior high school is smaller, just 7

classes (2 first forms, 3 second and 2 third). In high

school there are 15 classes divided

into 3 forms.If you go to our high school you

must choose a profile, e.g.: maths-physics,

biology-chemistry, humanistic. We don’t have to wear uniforms.

Every student and every employee at school has got an ID card, which is a chip card, as well. You should use your ID card when you want to enter the school or borrow a book from the school library. As you've learned a bit about our school, now we are going to show you around it.

We have got a school canteen with delicious food, really nice cafeteria and very comfortable corridors, where

students can sit, chat, buy something in a school shop or eat their breakfast.

Our school isn’t very big, but it’s really modern. In every

classroom there is a computer, because

our school uses electronic register.

Teachers keep records of our

progress there, so parents can get

necessary information about their children (e.g. notes) every time

they want.

There is also an interactive board in almost every

classroom (students really like it). We have a lot of different

classrooms: chemistry, biology and physics labs, three

computer-classrooms, one language laboratory and a

sports hall with a gym.

We can use the computers of free-use which are there in the corridors, too. In the building there are a library and a reading-room, so students can go there when

they have longer breaks between lessons.

A football pitch and an astronomy base (under construction) are new staff in

school area.

Everybody here tries to make Anna Vasa School look and work better. We really like

the atmosphere here. People are nice, friendly and helpful. We have a lot of

friends here and we are very happy that we chose this school some years ago.
