ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?

After this first project based on the LAB OBSERVATION, got many important notes, with which I could identify important points to improve the business of each store I visited.

And which will detail in this first assignment.

INTRODUCTION

NOTES:

I would have liked to take photos of better quality and resolution, but for the safety of the mall, is forbidden to take pictures of the localtherefore I took the photos from a hidden cell.

1st place: SkechersThis first business, is engaged in the sale of shoes for different types of age and gender.

I decided to enter this place, it caught my attention at first glance, its logo and above the offer price of the products on the front of it.Below I will list the pros and cons of the business.likewise, will raise INSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIES. What types of things had you missed before? What were your biggest surprises? Are there opportunities hidden in plain sight?

ReviewDuring my stay in the shoe store, I had various perceptions, unfortunately there are more bad than positive, such as the feel of the place clutter inside, since their products were very crowded and it felt reduction .

I also feel that the colors of the site apply well over the logo, their tenders.

Similarly staff not alert the moment when a customer arrives, only react when asked themselves and try on a shoe that's wrong.

They have no security, Mr. serving box also makes guard facing out what happens.Most products cost the same, almost everyone was 300 soles (Peruvian currency).

The place is too small for so many products.Most products are to underage customers.The only good thing is that they have nice music and going with the company image.

What kinds of things I'd lost before?

Nothing really, I think it was the local more simple and unimaginative that I have visited.

What were your biggest surprises?Maybe see so many children in the store, so if I found a bit odd, but the moment I realized that children's shoes was more than adults or young.

There are opportunities hidden from view?

Yes, but I think the main problem of the company was established in its scant attention to the public and the poor organization of their products is very tight

1st place: Skechers INSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIES

I think first, should better manage their products to give the impression that despite the store is small, a sense of organization and better customer perception.

Then watch for the arrival of customers and thus not lose, since it is possible that some customers do not get to buy their products simply because they are not properly targeted it.

Should change prices and increase the possibility of purchase.

Put a center where the most attractive products are in view not only to enter the customer if not people passing around the entire store.

Putting security personnel.

Attract customers with promotions more visual and concrete, sometimes people easily guided by what they see, for example, in the case of women's perception something comfortable and pleasant is highly valuable if presented in an attractive and suggestive images .

I suggest we can offer more products for adults and children not only because the image of the company is not that.

2nd place: Latin MusicThis second place is dedicated to the sale of products and musical instruments.Particularly struck me here since I am a musician, and also by the drums and guitars that are exposed in the front of the store.

ReviewThis second place is dedicated to the sale of products and musical instruments.Particularly struck me here since I am a musician, and also by the drums and guitars that are exposed in the front of the store.In this second store, I found pros from the floor and lighting that perfectly complement the local color errors like crazy shape and color of it.I also observed that there was only one person in charge of the whole place, in addition to not wear any uniform.Nor had the possibility to test the instruments as they put up a big sign that said ONLY IF YOU CAN BUY test instruments, it certainly lower the morale of any potential buyer.Similarly positive things found at the center of where exposed to the most striking products of the place.The downside is that the music they played had nothing to do with the image of the company, starting with "the song had nothing to the contrary was Latin and ballad and was radio."Another negative is that only certain products were price and the lack of attention, there was no one near who ask or consult any doubt.

  A final problem in the location of the store since it was on the second floor at the rear of almost the entire mall.

What kinds of things

I'd lost before? Actually, I found only attractive part of the environment, good and varied products offered.

What were your biggest surprises? I was very surprised the good products, good placement for them and good structure of the store.

There are opportunities hidden from view? Sure.

OPPORTUNITIES I think the first chance they have is to hire more staff who watch out for the arrival of customers.The second is to find ways to better serve customers bygiving the chance to try the tools to evaluate options.and another is bad considering the location of the premises,external advertising so that customers can find them.

This third place attracted me because of its position, as we know a iStore is an accessory shop and technology products, web designer and I'm so attracted to me more places like this.likewise, will raise INSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIES. What types of things had you missed before? What were your biggest surprises? Are there opportunities hidden in plain sight?

ReviewIn this place I found what I expected from a company with good positioning, but I was impressed by the limited capacity of their workers to approach and ask a customer what they want, obviously this is not something general, but at least it happened at this store that.

What kinds of things I'd lost before?What I found interesting was the placement of the most relevant of the store.

What were your biggest surprises?The surprise was the variety of products, good structuring of the store and especially the good atmosphere, except for the background music.

INSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIES In this case the incentives and opportunities pass better instruct their employees to better serve their customers and so satisfied and leave them in the mood to go back to the store.

4rd place: RadioShack

In this 4th store, the first thing that attracted me to it was also its position in my mind on this company.As we know RadioShack sells accessories and technological tools.likewise, will raise INSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIES. What types of things had you missed before? What were your biggest surprises? Are there opportunities hidden in plain sight?

ReviewHere I saw many pros as good structuring of in-store products and colors within the establishment.

Similarly large errors found and the fact that the environment did not have any music, nor have any offers and that many of its workers delay in approaching a customer.

4rd place: RadioShackWhat kinds of things I'd lost before?Nothing, had previously admitted to an establishment of the same company, and already knew their order or form of structuring, what did surprise me is that they have been a key point as is the atmosphere of the place, not if it the same in the other branches but at least to me this if I found a negative.What were your biggest surprises?Surprise not think, but I always like is the variety of products they have.There are opportunities hidden from view?Sure!

4rd place: RadioShackINSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIESI think the company should better complement their environment by playing music that goes with the image of your company, a situation that encourages greater customer to enter the store and influences to a successful purchase.Finally use much for parties to organize and decorate the place creatively, for example Hallowen or folk music (Here in Peru).And create more publicity that can be delivered on the streets, doing promotions that engage customers and target audience.

5th place: Levi’s

To enter this 5th place that I found attractive entry into the store and looked very elegant and fine.Levi's is a company that sells clothes.likewise, will raise INSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIES. What types of things had you missed before? What were your biggest surprises? Are there opportunities hidden in plain sight?

Review Here I found few negative things because I like the style, color, and atmosphere as though the place was not very big its structure was very well done on the basis of their products.Had not put products center where relevant but was not necessary because it is clothes itself and everyone should have an assessment alike.The only bad thing might be the high price of clothing but you get ha ha haIn short I loved it.

What kinds of things I'd lost before?I think maybe I might have missed was the good design of the local income, that if I really liked besides its good logo type.

What were your biggest surprises?Yes, I was very surprised to see the good management of the business, and that a lack of creative things its structure and style speaks volumes for the company.There are opportunities hidden from view?Sure!

INSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIES I saw many opportunities to start I realized that just needed to do more advertising of the brand as it is not well known, so I'd banners and forms of marketing for the company to increase the arrival of customers.

6th place: Zeta Book Store

Finally I came to this place as a bookstore attracted me a lot and while not coming.

This company is dedicated as I mentioned, the sale of books and publishing. likewise, will raise INSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIES. What types of things had you missed before? What were your biggest surprises? Are there opportunities hidden in plain sight?

6th place: Zeta Book StoreReviewIn this last, found negatives as the fact that the workers had no company uniforms and approached customers entered the place.

  Also I like the atmosphere from the colors to the music.

6th place: Zeta Book StoreINSIGHTS and HIDDEN OPPORTUNITIES The opportunities for this place I found, could be implemented brochures where customers can pick up in the store.Similarly, one could place interactive promotions.It could also be placed on the door a list of products for sale newcomers and keep customers informed.
