How to benefit from Allah’s Attributes?

Attributes of Allah are not just for us to know them or understand them.

But for us to ponder on them and connect with them. Example: Allah is All-Seeing What does this attributes of Allah mean to us? How should we live our life knowing this sublime

attribute of Allah?

Allah is ONE (Al-Ahad)

Allah is One This forms the core belief of Islam Allah is ONE in His essence and in person. Allah is NOT one in three or any such division or multiplication. “Say: He is Allah, The One and only”(Quran112:1)

Page 9: Belief in Allah

Allah is the sole Creator (Al – Khaliq)

Allah is the sole Originator of the heavens and the earth No one along with Allah who took part in the creation process No one besides Allah who took part in the creation process.

The Creator of the heavens and the earth; and when He decrees a thing, He but says to it 'Be,' and it is. (Quran 2:117)

Allah doesn’t rest nor need to get refreshed

“Allah! There is no God but He. the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth.

Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter . And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills.

His throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.” (Quran 2:255)

Allah alone is worthy of worship

Allah alone is worthy of worship No one should be worshipped ALONG with Allah No one should be worshipped BESIDES Allah. Allah should be worship DIRECTLY Allah should not be worshipped via any intermediary like a

Prophet, Saint, Idol etc. ‘You Alone we worship and You alone we seek for help’ (Quran

1:5)

Allah Begets not, nor is begotten

And they say: Allah has begotten a son. Glory be to Him. Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth, and all surrender with obedience (in worship) to Him. (Quran 2:116)

"He begets not, nor was He begotten; (Quran 112:3)

None is equal to Allah

Allah, alone, is worthy of His Divine attributes. Creation should not be given these attributes of Allah. Allah should not be given the attributes of creation. HE is the originator of the heavens and the earth. HE has made for you pairs

of you own selves, and of the cattle also HE has made pairs. HE multiplies you therein. There is nothing whatever like unto HIM, and HE is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. (Quran 42:11)

Page 14: Belief in Allah

Page 15: Belief in Allah

Allah is the Sustainer (Ar-Razzaq)

The oxygen we breath The water present in the world The vegetables and fruits Animals….. All and everyone depends on Allah and Allah depends on none.

“For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance, - Lord of Power, - Steadfast (for ever).” (Quran51:58)

Page 16: Belief in Allah

Allah is the giver and taker of life

He gives life and death to all the creatures. “And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in)

His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand?” (Quran23:80)
