STOP!!- on a piece of paper draw a picture of how a properly worn helmet should fit

How can you stay visible to motorist? Wear Bright colored clothing! Stay aware of traffic around you. Make eye contact with motorist. Ride where crossing, passing, and

approaching motorists can see you.

STOP!!! Write down some obstacles that could be in your path that you should be aware of.

Some drivers drink before getting behind wheel and do not react quickly.

Riding at night is for experience bicyclists who have the right equipment: headlight, tail light, multiple reflectors, reflective clothing.

You bike is an investment, protect it from theft Keep your receipt. Record the serial number. Take a picture of you bicycle. Engrave it with a unique number Use a U-Lock to secure both wheels and

the frame to a stationary object.

TIPS: Make it a habit! Six point safety check your bike
