Let’s Get Started with...

Go to Sasi

• Print out a class roster from one of your classes you would like to use the blackboard site with.

Go to bb.misd.net• Click Login.

• Type in your username and password

• Click on the class you printed a roster out for.

All editing/adding to this site will be done through the control panel

First we will add students

You can use this area to navigate backward through the site at any

time.

Adding Students• Click Create User

• Fill in required information only

• Make up an e-mail address such as dangelo@ucs.net

• To enable easy searches and avoid duplicate usernames create a username such as ikelawdangelo

• Enter a password (I use their first names)

• Click submit to finish.

To add an Announcement

Click add announcement and type away

Click assignments to add an activity

Click the Add Item button

Name the Assignment and type any instructions or web links.

To attach a saved file click the Browse button.

Select the location where the file is saved

To enter your test into blackboard

Select Add Quiz/Exam or Add Survey

Assessment Properties• Fill in name and description for test.

• Click submit.

• Enter instructions and click submit.

Choose Question Type

Advanced allows the addition of images and audio files

• Type in question text

• Fill in possible answers

• Enter responses to correct or incorrect answers.

• Submit
