Where I am From?

You speak, I speak.We speak.

Different words, different voices.

What do you expect? From my mouth, from my

soul.Ringing in words and

phrases.Do you picture

A wind sung whisperOr a rumbling roar

What do you expect? From our pasts

That I grew up in the cityThe country side, ocean side. That I dwell in tidal pools with

Crab like city dwellers

“Youth Speaks”

Or was born atop an evergreen, eagles on my

wingsYou speak, I speak.

We speak.Different words, different

voices.What do you expect?

From my actionsThat I fight for black rights

and I’m only half whiteConfused?

Should we be?NO!

Do you see valley girl flesh?Beneath raccoon eyed grins

That glow like neonJudge me?

NOT!You speak, I speak.

We speak.Different words, different

voices. So what is it you expect?Because we only except

equalitySo for you back stabbing, wolf grinned, billboard for

self-righteousnessTell me what you expect

And we will show you what you don’t see.

• Success is not only about your stature in society but also I believe it includes personal success. Goals that you’ve set for yourself that don’t always have to do with money or popularity.

• For example;Setting a goal for yourself that in 2 months you will

lose 20 pounds. That means each month you need to lose a total of 10 pounds. At the end of those 2 months you’ve lost 20 pounds then you will have successfully reached your goal.
