Recommendations
• Re- convene the Community Based Prevention Model – Franklin Community Health Council
• Develop goals and objectives to address school and community needs
• Continue to research, implement, and evaluate effective curricula and programs
• Continue to collect data to track student behavior (Metro West 2008 Data)
• Community-Based Prevention Programs (14 completed programs & activities)
Reconvene the Community Based Prevention Model – Franklin Community Health Council
• Meetings every other month 2008-2009

Develop goals and objectives to address school and community needs
CHC Action Plan Goal #1
To implement an educational program for the Franklin community, parents and students in grades 9-12 on alcohol abuse and underage drinking by June 2008.
• Coordinated related school-based activities with CHC
• Networked with neighboring districts and private & public organizations
• 11 Goal-specific activities – teachers, parents, students
Develop goals and objectives to address school and community needs
CHC Action Plan Goal #2 To implement an educational program for the Franklin community, parents and students in grades 6-12 on harassment, cyber-bullying and the ethical responsibilities associated with increased technology literacies.
