Change the way…..

• You think!– Don’t be brand loyal, be flexible– Think about it do you HAVE to have that brand?

• You shop!– Only shop with sales– Look for closeout deals and clearance items

Page 5: Couponing tips

Walgreens • There is a limit of 1 RR printed per offer per customer per

transaction– Do multiple transactions (if you can)

• If you use RR on a product that is from the same M that gave you a previous RR, the other RR will NOT print out! – Don’t use RR from a previous purchase for the same thing to get more

RR – It wont work!

• Look for their Monthly Coupon Booklet– These are store coupons that can be stacked with manufacturer

coupons

CVS• Sign up for Extra Care Card

– Register online for email savings– Scan “Magic Coupon Machine” every time you go to store– Scan card at “Magic Coupon Machine” until it says no more coupons

• ECB = Extra Care Bucks– Located on bottom of receipt

• Earn 2% back on all your purchases.• In addition to the weekly ECBs that you earn for

buying advertised products, you earn quarterly ECBs. CVS gives 2% back on all your purchases! So, every 3 months you will get an ECB for 2% of what you spent at CVS that quarter.

Reasons to stockpile

• Instead of making a list for what you need weekly – Start shopping for what you would need to use in a 3 month time frame.

• Products have sale cycles, this is a good thing to try to remember what product goes on sale this way you can stock up enough until the next sale.

Very important tips… • If store has run out of their sale product get a

RAIN CHECK– This is VIP! You can always come back before the coupon expires to

get that product. – WAGS & CVS Rain Check’s DON’T EXPIRE!

• Do multiple transactions– To maximize your savings do more than 1 transaction

• Watch out for scams and fraud coupons. Be sure to keep in mind – if a coupon online is too good to be true it probably is!

BOGO or B1G1 Sales• These are couponers FAVORITE sales!

– B1G1 Q + B1G1 Store Sale = 2 FREE ITEMS!!

• On a B1G1 Sale, you may use either: – 2 $/1 Coupons – 1 $/2 Coupon – 1 B1G1 Coupon

• CVS and Walgreen’s pharmacies will allow this but some grocery stores don’t.

• All B1G1 sales can be limited by Management; however, you can always use the coupons listed above on that limit.
