Geographical

The Philippines is an archipelago country.

It lies between latitudes 116° 40', 126° 34' E

and 4° 40' and 21° 10' N.

It consist of about 7,107 islands.

Population

The total population of the Philippines as of 2010 is

92,337,852

There are around 79 distinct heritage of language

and about 240 variants or dialects.

Some indigenous and ethnic groups in Phillippines

are Bicolano,Ibanag,Ilocano,Ivatan,Kapampangan.

Non-indigenous ethnic groups are

Chinese,American,Arab,Indian,Japanese,Hispanic,J

ewish,Korean.
