These cards include vocabulary from Debiz Comprehensions – Animals.

The aim of the cards is to review the vocabulary.

Print the following three pages. Laminate them and cut along the dotted lines. How to use the cards – There are several ways to use them. Page 1: Spread the cards face up in the middle of the group • Each student can describe a card. For example: The girls can see a bear on TV. • The students match each card to a sentence from the comprehension. • The students arrange the cards in the correct order according to the comprehension. Page 2: Spread the cards face down in the middle of the group • One student picks up a card, reads it and asks a question. For example: “We can see a happy animal. What is it?” The other students have to guess what it is and say, “It is a camel.” Pages 1, 2 and 3: Play a three-way memory game, where the students have to turn over three cards to find the matching cards.
