University of Tsukuba, Yoichi Ochiai Labratory Digital Nature super-nature defined by computational resources To present the vision of a post-pixel multimedia ecosystem after the ubiquitous society, we have conducted the research towards our vision called Digital Nature, an alternative perspective of nature, humanity, and computational environment. The ecosystem of Digital Nature transforms the audio-visual methods from the pixels in 2D flat-screen towards the pixies in 3D haptic environments, the production process of material existence, the shape of human presence, and human-computer relationship.We believe the ecosystem of Digital Nature will be described as the interdisciplinary computational projects on multimedia systems, graphics, HCI research, fabrication, robotics, art, architecture, materials science and biology. Here we exhibit mixtures of our artwork and research achievements on the Digital Nature projects.
