• Created in 1997

• Major European education portals for learning resources, collaboration and skills

• Leads the way in bringing about change in schooling through the use of new technology

• Open content describes any kind of creative work

published in a format that explicitly allows copying

and modifying of its information by anyone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_content)

• Different schemes, Creative Commons is recommended!
