Dragon Myths

● Dragons chewed on ores which combined with CO2 in their stomachs. When their teeth scraped together sparks were created which ignited fire.

● Dragons’ myths were created to explain natural phenomenon.

Dragons' appearances

● Dragons have different appearances depending on the culture.

● In mythology dragons are usually large monsters with many different animals' body parts.

● They are often described as four- legged, long-necked, long-tailed, and hard-scaled with gigantic bat- like wings. There were many kinds of dragons around the world.

Significance of Dragons

● Dragons were the ultimate challenge for a hero to overcome.

● They often guarded large treasures.

● Their existence also explained how villages were destroyed by fire..
