courseoverviewProblem-Based Learning Presentations
Groups will collaboratively identify a problem related to the topics being explored in each of the three major course modules. Then, the groups will use online technologies to facilitate collaboration on:
• Specifying the scope and relevance of the problem to be explored• Identifying knowledge and skills gaps that need to be resolved in
order to address the identified problem• Specifying steps (tasks) that need to be completed in order to
propose a solution(s) to the identified problem• Sharing of tasks to develop the proposed solution(s)• Preparing an online presentation about the problem and proposed
solution(s)
courseoverviewProblem-Based Learning Presentations• Publish your problem and collaboratively developed solution online• Present your problem and solution in a 20-30 minute Adobe Connect
class session• Submit link to online site prior to presentation• Three (3) presentations per group (one per module)
courseoverviewFinal Paper
Three (3) components:
• Prepare your paper on a topic from the course • 6-8 pages / approx 1500-2000 words, excluding references• Due by March 25
• Prepare a peer-review of another student’s paper • 2-3 pages / approx 700 words• Due by April 1
• Prepare a response to your peer-review • approx 450-500 words• Due by April 8
