1OnNovember 19, Mrs. Emery-Seibert and Mrs. Bleistein, along with 19 high school business students attended a one day Entrepreneurship Challenge conference at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club in Shamokin Dam, PA. In partnership with Economics PA and Bloomsburg University Business Professors, the students were trained how to write a summary business plan.

Students practice skills helpful in preparing for the working world; written and oral communication; math proficiency; economic understanding; technological competence and business aptitude. Carissa Wagner, Peyton Phillips, Amanda Porter, and Shannon Keiser gave an elevator speech about their product, iSafe. Their concept idea placed second at the event.



Alec DeBaro, Alex Hess, and Ryan Emery developed their business plan about an application called Bird's Eye View which is designed to simplify navigation throughout airports and train stations all over the world. The application could be used on any personal electronic device.Birds Eye View
