Descriptive epidemiology, is a study whose main purpose descriptive exploration of the phenomenon of public health in the form of risk or effect.
Analytic Epidemiology Definition
Analytic epidemiology is the study tries to explore how and why health phenomena can occur is by analyzing relationships between phenomena, whether between risk factors and effects, among the risk factors, as well as between the effects.

Epidemiological Characteristics
1. Characteristics Individuals with Factor
Characteristics of individuals with factor RT.14 Village residents in the Palace Martapura of 7 families interviewed 6 families (85.71%) did not know the symptoms of dengue fever.
2. Characteristics Places
Characteristics place for residents in RT. 14 Village palace Martapura very poorly, because housing is so closely packed together at RT. The lack of provision of garbage bins in the neighborhood to make residents about littering.

3. Characteristic Time

Conclusion
Descriptive epidemiology is the study performed without having to make a special hypothesis. This study is often used in the initial study on the emergence of new diseases.
Analytic epidemiology undertaken to identify and test hypotheses about the relationship between the factor and the suspected cause of the outcome (disease) appears certain.
