Limited promotion The day was marked on both the Learner Voice Blog and the Staff

communication platform. The coverage consisted of a displayed banner and an

embedded video.

Impact Was not measured but no comments were collected on the blog and it is unlikely

that such passive celebration would encourage reflection and change of behaviour.

Where do we come from?

Page 5: Epping forest college interactive exhibition

We want to be an eConfident and effective education provider that

actively promotes safeguarding to all its stakeholders.

This year we aim to proactively promote a Safer Internet by: • Engaging and empowering staff and students;

• Sharing positive and negative internet experience;

• Raising awareness of better internet practices.

Where do we want to be?

Page 6: Epping forest college interactive exhibition

How are going to get there?

The aim is to create a one day

INTERACTIVE EXHIBITION

using technology to raise awareness on e-Safety and

share valuable experience amongst all of us.

Page 7: Epping forest college interactive exhibition

How are we going to do this?

We're going to collect good stories from

students & staff on e-Safety

- Who's been hacked?

- Who's been a victim of AC fraud?

- Who's been deceived online?

- Who's done something online they regret?

-Who's ever shared something & wished they hadn’t?

AND... also share good practices

- How do you ensure your safety online?

- What positive and creative things do you do online?

- Would you know what to do & where to turn to if you did have a poor online experience?
