The following Faces represent our best guesses of who will be retrenched and is based on information provided by the individual faculty members who appear here.

residents, ages 12 through adult. Services target low-income, first generation potential college students. and provide exposure, encouragement, and assistance in enrolling in postsecondary education.

Wrote and received federal grants bringing over $5.3 million to university Wrote and received funding of over $53,000 for 20 programming grants

from state and private agencies and foundations Served as Coordinator of the Program of Scholastic Enrichment, to

improve rural postsecondary graduation rates

collaborative board; led a countywide task force on smoking during pregnancy • An evaluation consultant and trainer for over 20 nonprofits• Published two edited books, an instructor's manual, and a test bank• Developed four new courses for Psychology, Women and Gender Studies, and

Academic Enrichment

1989 to present

Serving first generation college students through the TRIO Student Support Services Program, which serves over 200 students/year

Served as Coordinator of Learning Skills as of 1989, and as program Director since 1999

Authored 3 successful grant proposals for TRIO SSS, which brought the university $4.4 million in funding from the US Department of Education, including over $330,000 in direct financial aid to PELL-eligible students

Served on numerous university committees including the Retention Committee, the Middle States Task Force Committee, the Presidential Commission on Disabilities, and the Pregnancy & Parenting Resources Initiative
