1. First I created gridlines 6x4 so that everything on my front cover would be proportional

2. Then I added the image as I need to create everything around the image

3. Then I added the kicker as it is the biggest piece of text on my magazine so everything needs to be proportional to it.

4. Then I added the masthead because it has to be at the top and everything else must fit underneath

5. Then I added the date , issue number and price as it is easiest to work chronologically.

6. Then I added the circle for the puff7. Then I added the text to the puff. In Gills Sans MT8. Then I added my first strapline I chose the biggest one as that one

would be the hardest to move around

9. I then added my second biggest strapline the was more complicated as it had a quote.

10. I then added my 3rd strapline and played around with the colours so that I could get emphasis on certain words

11. I added a barcode which is a quintessential part of a magazine12. Final magazine before changes13. Final magazine after changes

• I changed the colour of the quote on the kicker so it was readable

• I moved everything in so it wasn’t as close to the edge• Changed lowest strapline so it was in the right font
