The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is a standardised

test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the United

States.

The level of emphasis on GRE scores varies from between schools and varies departments in US.

Sometimes, it could just be an admission formality, on the other hand, it could be one of the most important

• GRE scores are valid for five years after the testing year in which you tested (July 1–June 30). Currently, scores earned from July 1, 2009, to the present are available.

Why is it so convinient?

• Available on a continuous basis throughout the year.

• Choose from thousands of graduate and business school programs around the world.

• Choose from many test locations i.e. more than 850 test centers in more than 160 countries.

• Less expensive than other graduate admissions tests that measure the same skills i.e. GRE revised general test worldwide - $195 (12387.46 Indian Rupee)
