Holiday homework

In the holidays my mother decided that we would go to Madhopur to see Ranthambore fort and Tiger reserve. We went for two days. When we reached Ranthambore hotel we first planned of going to Ranthambore fort. On our way we saw a herd of deer grazing beside the path. I saw peacocks and also monkeys.

We saw a castle which was built 900 years ago. It was very big and old. There was a beautiful garden filled with lots of flowers, trees, and there were peacocks roaming in it.

There was a big lake in front of the garden. We enjoyed the scenery, but it was time for us to go back to the hotel. The second day we played lots of outdoor games like badminton , football , etc.

Then we took a break and planned to go to tiger reserve on a canter . We did not see any tiger but we were thrilled to see a leopard . We saw different kinds of birds like parrot and magpie. We saw sambar deer and spotted deers. The guide showed us a special kind of tree known as ghost tree as it glows at the night.

The next day it was time for us to go back to Jaipur . I enjoyed a lot but it was time to go home . The journey back was also very good .There was greenery on both sides of the road.

We plan to visit more such places in our next holidays. Its so much entertaining and educational also.
