Kids that don’t spend time practicing their skills over the summer lose them. Put their knowledge to use at home to make sure they start next year at the top of their game.

Working reading into your summer plans helps ensure that it really happens. Set aside time for reading a book, listening to books on tape, or playing with reading software to make sure it gets done.

Math doesn’t have to be done on worksheets. There are plenty of opportunities to get your child working with numbers in ways that are useful and fun!

Summer is the perfect time to practice practical writing skills- postcards, lists, and chore charts are great places to practice.
