FRONT COVER –HISTORY ON PHOTOSHOP

Starting of my front cover by positioning the mid shot of the model above my masthead to present my model as a prominent figure

Here I've inserted a text box to vaguely give me an idea of how I want the text to be laid out

The blending option helps define the button. I’m experimenting further

Adding ‘kickers’ will allow my target audience to be informed about the content of the magazine and draw them into purchasing it.

End Result

My button was too plain and boring, and seeing as this was a contemporary music magazine I needed a contemporary feel to it.

I wasn't content with my end result so I decided to make some tweaks to the front cover

I also added more text to make it more engaging , as it lacked enough coverlines to attract my target audience.
