There are many kinds of 居酒屋 in Japan

串焼き (kushi-yaki)• chicken, pork, beef, vegetable• you don’t cook by yourself• 皮 (kawa: skin of chicken is the best)

海鮮 (kaisen: sea food)• mainly fishes(sashimi, sushi, stew, )• usually more expensive than others• たこわさ is essential

俺のフレンチ (oreno french)• nice dishes in cheap price• but still expensive• they also have jazz band live

串揚げ (kushi-age)• kushi-yaki 　 fried version• you put them in the special sauce• Don’t put them after you bite

魚民 (uotami)• one of the biggest 居酒屋• general dishes• 調布 also has one near station

ビアガーデン (beer garden)• on the roof of buildings• ¥3000-¥5000 and 飲み放題

とりあえず生 (nama) で

means “beer for first drink”

men have to start 飲み会 (nomikai) with a beer

締 (shi) めのラーメン

means “the ramen at the end of drinking”we tend to go to ramen restaurant

after we get out from 居酒屋お茶漬け

女子会 (zyoshikai)

means “drinking only women”

many 居酒屋 have discount for this
