An illustration is adrawing, painting or printed work of art which explains, clarifies, illuminates, visually represents, or merely decorates a written text, which may be of a literary or commercial nature.

  • Difference between the text and illustration?

  • The process of pathogenesis begins with Adhesion of fungal infective units or conidium to the insect epicuticleGermination of infective units on cuticle, Penetration of the cuticleMultiplication in the haemolymphDeath of the host (Nutritional deficiency , destruction of tissues and releasingtoxins) Mycelial growth with invasion of all host organsPenetration of hyphae from the interior through the cuticle to exterior of the insect Production of infective conidia on the exterior of the insect. Most of the entomopathogenic fungi infect their hosts by penetration of the

cuticle by producing cuticle digesting enzymes ( Proteases lipases chitinases). The typical symptoms of fungal infection are, mummified body of insects and it does not disintegrate in water and body covered with filamentous mycelium

Image caption will not display in your List of Figures. (Use this for any annotative descriptions of the image.)

This way when you go to insert the photographs into your full thesis document, the formatting will look the same.
