What is Incots?Incots, is an online program that offers home healthaide training in compliance with Medicare, Medicaidand Passport requirements 3. What is offered in the training?The Home Health Aide Training consists of 12modules. Each module contains:Reading assignmentsCase StudyVocabularyVideosQuiz 4. Whats after the online modules?At the completion of the 12 modules, students aregiven a program review followed by a comprehensivefinal exam.Students must pass the final exam with a score of 75%or higher. 5. Skills LabAfter successful completion of the online class,students are required to complete 16 hours of skillstraining. This training is done face to face with IncotsNursing Instructors 6. When is the Lab Offered?Each student is required to chose a time slot that theywill attend for 4 days.Times: 7 AM-11 AM12 PM-4 PM5 PM- 9 PM 7. What are the dates for Lab?The dates for the lab begin on July 22, 2013Students are able to select their own time slot, but thespecific dates for their 4 days of training are scheduledby Incots staff. 8. What about test scores?Students must pass the daily quizzes with a score of 75or higher. Students who complete the case study aregiven a starting score of 5, to be added to their quizscore 9. What about test scores?Students must pass the final exam with a score of 75 orhigher. Students who have completed all case studiesare given a starting score of 5, to be added to their finalexam 10. What about test scores?Students are allowed one make-up attempt for all dailyquizzes, if they do not pass on the first attempt.Students must pass the final exam on the first attempt,no make-ups are given. 11. What about test scores?The Skills Lab is on a Pass/Fail basis. Students mustattend all 16 hours required. There will be limitedmake-up dates available, on a first-come, first-servedbasis 12. Whats after the Lab?Upon successful completion of the skills training,students are awarded certification as a Home HealthAide. 13. Certificate of AchievementPresented to_________________________________________on the 4th day of August, 2013, for successfully completingthe 75 hour home health aide training course as requiredby the Medicare/Medicaid and Passport programs.Donna Dixon, R.N.Incots Instructor 14. Whats next? 15. Graduation DayStudents are awarded their certificate of completion ata graduation ceremony that will take place on August4th, followed by a City Wide Job Fair 16. How do I get started?Southeast Outreach Ministry Program and Incots arepartnering to offer the online training program at nocost to participating students* 17. How does that work? 18. ScholarshipsIncots will be awarding scholarships to everyparticipant. The regular cost of the online program is$300 and Incots will award $150 to all enrolledstudents. 19. Community, Friends and FamilySoutheast Community Outreach Ministry and Incotshave partnered together to establish a Community,Friends and Family Matching Fund to cover the cost ofthe remaining balance of $150.*All students must pay a $25 non-refundableenrollment/application processing fee. Please do notpay and enroll, unless you are sure you want toparticipate in the program 20. C.F.F.
