other universities' libraries and

in many cases borrow books -

great if you can't easily make it

to the Learning Centres at SHU

Please make sure you pay off

any outstanding library fines

before applying.

Support for distance learners

If you're on a distance learning course, we can

help you by

• letting you borrow things for longer periods

of time

• sending books out to you through the post

• supplying you with copies of journal articles

and book chapters that aren't available

electronically

Most UK universities will allow you to use the

eduroam Wi-Fi network, meaning you can get

internet access away from SHU

step 1: select eduroam from the list of Wi-Fi networks

Search for 'eduroam' on shuspace for information

on connecting your laptop, phone, etc.

step 3: enter your password as normal

step 2: enter your username followed by '@shu.ac.uk'
