Exclusively for LifeSpan Families The Summer Camp Registration fee is WAIVED the week of February 23-27

with receipt of the completed camp enrollment forms and one week’s deposit paid in full.

Registration will be on site at each of LifeSpan After School ProgramsMonday February 23 - Pfaff 4:00-6:00

LifeSpan Summer Camp 2015New Options for 2015 SPECIALTY CAMPS and PART-DAY CAMP

Specialty camps will be offered at the time of registration for campers to choose from. Each specialty camp session runs on one week themes.Specialty camps will run daily from 9:00-12:00 with the exception of Thursdays.

Traditional Day CampKindergarten through Teen Leader

LifeSpan’s Day Camp offers campers a traditional Summer Day Camp experience. Camp is designed to provide campers opportunities for fun in safe, indoor and outdoor environments.

Our qualified camp counselors lead a variety of age-appropriate activities including nature, art, science, gamesand sports.

Traditional Camp is offered Monday – Friday 9:00-4:00.

Children who choose a “Specialty Camp” at registration will join their peers in Traditional Day Camp at lunch time for the rest of the afternoon.

Media Circus 2nd grade through Teen Leader

Campers will explore their interests of broadcast journalism, film-video and multimedia journalism during hands on camp program. Campers will gain an understanding of the technical and professional aspects of potential careers in the media world.

Media Circus is an opportunity to explore essential broadcast journalism skills, newsgathering techniques, storytelling and more. This camp is a good option for those students considering a career in either on-air or off-air television news/sports jobs

(including reporting, anchoring, producing and videography).

They will discover the secrets of interviewing, practice writing skills and learn about photography and multimedia journalism -- the ways that journalists are telling stories in the 21st century. This camp focuses on a variety of approaches and topics, including: arts and culture, photojournalism, social media, sports and even weather-related news.

*All campers will participate in Traditional Day Camp on Thursdays and the week of June 29-July 2.

Children who choose Media Circus at registration will join their peers at lunch time for the rest of the

Artist’s LoftKindergarten through Teen Leader

Come discover the hidden artist in you!

In this camp children will explore a variety of art mediums including traditional skills of drawing, mixed media, 3D design, puppet making, miming, cartooning and more.

The Artist’s Loft is offered Monday – Wednesday and Friday 9:00-12:00

Children who choose The Artist’s Loft at registration will join their peers at lunch

time for the rest of the afternoon and traditional camp activities.

*All campers will participate in Traditional Day Camp on Thursdays and

the week of June 29-July 2.

We’ve Got GameKindergarten through Teen Leader

Join us this summer for an exciting sports camp adventure. Sports campers learn valuable and lasting skills in a variety of team and leisure sport activities.

We’ve Got Game is designed to teach basic fundamentals and knowledge of individual sports. campers will learn through fun instruction and will be taught at a graduated pace.

Each day the campers will participate in game play to utilize the skills they have learned. Prior knowledge of sports is not necessary. Energetic and trained counselors provide instruction, encourage participation, and set positive examples for this non-competitive camp.

Science ExploresKindergarten through Teen Leader

Learn what goes fizz, pop, bang, and more! This camp encourages kids to ask why and how…

Then figure it out.

Would you like to build your brain power? Explore the chemistry in the kitchen, biology at the park, physics on the playground and Earth Sciences

such as weather and geology? How about augmenting an object to come virtual?

Come join the fun of science exploration and bring out the mad scientist in you.

This camp will incorporate science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) as well as writing and

helps develop communication skills.

We’ve Got Game is offered Monday – Wednesday and Friday 9:00-12:00

Children who choose We’ve Got Game at registration will join their peers at lunch time for the rest of the

afternoon and traditional camp activities.

Traditional Camp for TeensTeen Leaders

5th on up Teen Leaders is intended for campers who have completed 5th grade or above and is designed to build their leadership skills, let them explore different career opportunities, mentor others, develop life skills and give them a chance to make a difference in the community.

There will be walking field trips amid days of theme-related and other outdoor activities to leave a positive lasting impression.

Activities will include leadership, career exploration, sports, adventures, swimming, nature exploration, the arts, social time and more.

Teen Leaders is offered Monday – Thursday

and Friday 9:00-4:00

Children who choose Teen Leaders at registration will remain with their peers throughout the day.

*All campers will participate in Traditional Day Camp on Thursdays and the week of June

29-July 2.
