When you come to Whirikoka computer lab

• Log on to a computer and the assessment tool• You will be issued 2 codes – Reading & Numeracy• Log in (name check prompt) • Start Practise if you wish too or start Assessment • Your Kaiako / tutor or myself may assist you in

understanding, not to give the answer • You can use pen and paper to help you • When completed, you will see what step you have

achieved from Step 1 to Step 6

Tips for a GR8 outcome

• Read to understand• Take your time• Don’t Guess• You can pause, take a break, log in and resume• Half Hour for each code is an average time,

take longer if you wish too • Ask if you need help

• Speak with your kaiako for a time to come into computer lab
