We have a work station with many tools for your use when creating projects or

handling documents

We have added a small shredder to keep confidential items

secure when disposing of them.

The Equitrac Card system has been relocated next to the copy

machine for your convenience.

We now offer color copying/printing at our Copy Center located

on the second floor. Forms are available here in the LRC or at

the Copy Center window.

Located outside the Copy Center on the second floor is a Community Message Board where you can list items for sale, post items you want,

leave messages for people, make ride share requests, and offer or request services.

Our conference room includes a Smart Board, a TV VCR/DVD combo unit, an overhead projector, and a computer equipped with Dragon

Naturally Speaking, SmartNav, Zoom Text, and camera software.

We have added 2 Mac computers that can function as a Mac or a pc.

We offer video cameras and digital cameras along with tripods

to complete your class projects and assignments

with your instructor’s permission.

We have available for use tape recorders and a plug and play 3.5 disk drive.

We offer use of our fax machine.

You can send local faxes for free. For long distance faxes, you may use your own phone card, or we will lend you our card for a charge of one dollar. Please ask for our card at the circulation desk. There is no charge to receive a fax. Received faxes will be placed in the basket next to the fax machine.

We have a convenient drop box to return library items borrowed from the various branches of Waldo Library.

Proctor Exams

• If you miss your class exam, and your instructor allows you to take a make up—it can be scheduled Monday—Friday between 8:15-4.

• Or if you have a conflict with the exam schedule and your instructor allows you to schedule it at an alternate time, we can assist you.

• If you have special needs for exams, through the Disabled Student Resources and Service, we can assist you, with scheduled approved accommodations.

• If you are an instructor and need to be gone or ill during a scheduled exam, we can proctor the class exam as long as it is between the hours of 8:15-5, Monday through Friday.

• Please enjoy your food, drinks, water and other consumables in the commons area outside of the LRC.

• Including the study rooms and conference room.
