Spirit of humanity, human nature, values reflective of a culture

Ubuntu is a word you will often hear with

respect to the rainbow nation. It is difficult to

translate precisely, but has to do with

humanity putting aside their differences and

all getting along together. Nelson Mandela

has been a leading force in fostering the spirit

of “Ubuntu” in South Africa and abroad.
